Macaria “Margie” Ortiz passed away on February 12, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born on January 2, 1930 in Seguin, TX to Concepcion and Rosa “Briseno” Ortiz. Margie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Conception Ortiz; and grandson, Allen R. Ortiz; survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Susano Ortiz, children, Rosa Hernandez, her husband Gilbert, Dalia Aleman, Jannie Arevalo, her husband Francisco, Susana Muniz, her husband Ramon, Jose Ortiz, his wife Janet and Cindy Guzman, her husband Bruno; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
