Magdalena “Maggie” Giesa Tackett, age 80 passed away October 21, 2019. She was born June 4, 1939 in Germany to Theo and Agnes Giesa. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth R. Tackett; brothers, George and Bernhardt Giesa. Survivors include her children, Kenneth R. Tackett, Jr. and wife Faith, Angela Thomas, Ronald Tackett and wife Valerie; grandchildren, Cory Tackett, Sheena Jordan and husband A.J., Brandon Thomas, Alyssa Thomas, Mackenzie Tackett, and Colton Tackett; great grandchildren, Cooper Jordan and Grayson Thomas; sister, Leisel Euler. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 10 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at Shelter One
