Margaret M. Cordes of San Antonio, Texas entered into the House of the Lord on August 17, 2015 at the age of 87. She was born in Schulenburg, Texas on October 12th, 1927 to Joe and Ida Grosch. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. Ellebracht and her husband Kenneth; sons, Ronald W. Cordes and his wife Janie, Kenneth L. Cordes and his wife Lisa, Gregory L. Cordes and his wife Rae Ann; sister, Irene Christ; sister-in-laws, Lera Grosch and Lillian Grosch; ¬ 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, additional family members and many friends who loved her. Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 24th, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 11am and Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
