Marvin Otto Lange, Jr.

Marvin was born in San Antonio, Texas, to Marvin and Dorothy Lange. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Voss; and his daughter-in-law, Kimberley Lange.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Darleen Lange; his children, Darren (Tammy) Lange and Michelle (Brian) Sorrell; his grandchildren, Kolten (Erica) Hughes, Madison (Dustin) Gibson, Mason (Lucia) Urias, Morgan Lange and Reid, Nolan (Madissen) Sorrell, Kirstyn Urias, Austin (Chloe) Lange, and Carlie Sorrell; as well as his great-grandchildren, Asher Hughes, Valor Hughes, Wyatt Gibson, Bryntleigh Hughes, Jed Hughes and Hadley Gibson.

Marvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his love, guidance, and steady presence in the lives of all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025; 6:00pm-8:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk, Universal City, TX. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025; 2:00pm, with Graveside Service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218.
