Barb and Verde,, I  received  Alma  Garnica's  email about your Mom's  passing. Dorothy  and I are so sorry  about this.  When you took care of my retirement  and you helped getting the whole thing arranged and also helped with getting together with my daughters and Dorothy and  also with grandsons, Frankie and  Ronnie there and also getting the bagpiper there was so great and  and I was shocked when I walked in the breakroom and  saw everyone there.  You are  one of my cherished  friends and will  be always.  I wish I could have been there with you  and Verde.  Your Mom  was a lovely and gracious woman and I  send  our deepest condolences  from our whole family. Please call me or send a note to let me know how everything is going . Mary was the epitome of a hospitable Southern woman.   I loved our conversations about growing up in the south and our shared love of Southern food.   I always lived visiting with her and my amazement at what a meticulous home she kept.

She would be so excited as we drove into town and got a glimpse of Lake Superior. She loved the town and it’s people.
