Nelson Flores Bartlett

Nelson Flores Bartlett, age 87, of Converse, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025. He was born April 9, 1938 in Olongapo, Philippines to Theodore and Aurora Bartlett. Nelson proudly served 8 years in the Army and 15 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1989. During his military service, Nelson served 3 tours in Vietnam. He was an active member of Senyor Santo Niño de Cebu Catholic Church, he loved working with his hands, fishing, football, his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Aurora Bartlett; brothers, Ted, Henry, Fredrick, Daniel; sisters, Ellen and Alice.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 55 years, Erlinda Bartlett; two sons, Ernel and his wife Pejay, George and his wife, Marisa; grandchildren, Niko, Login, Noah, Gabriel, Callesto; great grandchildren, Calcifer, Charlotte and Terra.

Visitation for Nelson will be held from 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m. with Mass to begin at 1:00p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Senyor Santo Niño de Cebu Catholic Church, 5655 Rigsby Ave, San Antonio, TX 78222. A Committal Service with Military Honors will follow from 3:00p.m. to 3:30p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
