

Robert F. Lapinski of Universal City went to be with the Lord on August 29, 2015. He was born on August 26, 1942 in Jackson, Michigan to John Charles and Nora Louise (Wellman) Lapinski. He served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1962-1984. While in the service he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology in 1968 from Pennsylvania State University and his Master of Science degree in Aeronomy and Planetary Atmospheres in 1972 from the University of Michigan in 1972. He was a faculty member at Judson High School from 1986-2007 and owned Alamo Real Estate Institute from 1994-2008. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Selma and a member of the Knight of Columbus, Tri-City Flyers. He loved to play golf and visiting county courthouses all across Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Elaine Christian. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Tonya; brothers Jack and James Lapinski; sisters Judy Stage, Mary Sue McCondra, Alice Marie Dull; son Joseph Lapinski, daughter-in-law Kelly Pritt Lapinski, son-in-law Robert Christian; grandchildren Krystal and Brittini Christian, Katie and Ty Lapinski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1030am, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Graveside services and interment will be Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:15 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
