I miss you everyday.  Lyle misses you. Still wear your Army sweatshirt when I need a hug or your Father advise.  Help us find your cow?  It is missing!   We are going this weekend to toast and remember you with Will over your golf course.  The loss of you will never be easier, but we know you are in Heaven waiting for us to play golf, dominoes, and tell stories and solve the worlds problems.   I miss your bread and cake, your laughs, your smile, your stories, your phone calls, your guilt trips lol, your everything and the trips we did together.   I am waiting to see my adopted Dad again someday and get those hugs and kisses.  I was so blessed to know you, love you and literally adopt you as my Dad....Lyle misses you fishing and hunting with him.  His best friend in the world.    Never forgotten.

We miss him so much, he & I where the BEST OF BUDDIES and I shall always remember him. Still this day I have dreams of him. He will be missed by many !

I woke up missing you again this morning.  Your always in my heart.  I still wrap myself up in your army sweatshirt at times, when I am missing you.  You were the best in giving me "Dad" advice.  So many times I needed and wanted to call you since you been gone.  I hear your voice in my head with past advice.    I so miss your voice.  I miss how you would guilt trip me into getting Lyle out to see you. lol.  I miss spoiling you at my house.  I miss the smell of your cigars and your face of how much you looked like my beloved handsome Grandfather.  I think of you laying on a chair on a beach sipping a drink and that smile and the appreciation you had for everywhere we went with you and Carrol.  I miss that "Dad" who proudly introduced me as his "daughter".  Lyle misses you so much it breaks my heart for him.  I know your playing dominoes with John in Heaven.  You two are missed more than words can be written.  Fishing, Hunting, playing dominoes, or watching a crazy you tube videos you found on the internet about fly fishing or vacation getaways or planes you wanted to buy.  We truly had the best in you.  I love you forever and I pray you hear me when I talk to you and in my prayers.  God gave me a gift in you!

I’m so incredibly glad we all had that time together in NOLA. I’ll always remember him playing those crazy dominoes games! Ron was a good man and a good friend, he will be missed. My love and prayers are on their way for comfort and peace for your family, Carol.

Truly Great Friends are Hard to Find, Difficult to Leave & Impossible to Forget...that's what Ron & my dad were. I still remember those two at BBQ/ cookouts at our home in Pearland TX.

I wish to share. Ron and I were the very best of fiends. He was one of the most highly respected man I have ever known. We were like brothers, as we worked together, vacationed together and fished together. He was a man who gave 37 years of faithful service to our country.
