Ronald K. Greeness Sr., 74, of Round Rock & Bastrop TX, passed away on 5 February 2026 at home with family. He was born on 28 July 1951 in Bastrop, TX to Howard and Bertha Greeness. Ronnie spent his youth in Bastrop until enlisting in the Army in 1974 completing one tour of service. He spent his senior years living in Round Rock where he met lifelong friends whom he loved spending time with along with other veterans at the American Legion(s).
He is survived by his four children, and granddaughter, also, his long-time friends and roommates, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Engvall, father, Howard Greeness, and stepfather, Kenneth Engvall. Also, his three siblings, Howard, Sheryl, and Bobby.
Respecting Ronald’s wishes, his children will gather quietly at the graveside. He chose not to have a formal ceremony or reception. The time and date of the burial will be shared with those who would like to visit and pay their respects in their own way.
