Rose Marie Garcia

Rose Marie Garcia passed away on Sept. 12, 2018. She was born in Waco, Texas on Dec. 23, 1929 to parents Jesse and Sarah Fajardo. She graduated from Waco High School and married the love of her life. During her time on Earth, she was a Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout leader, and a volunteer at her church. Rose loved to travel and was afforded the opportunity to do so as an Air Force spouse. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Rufino Garcia, Jr., and son, Rufino Garcia III. She is survived by her daughter Espe Garcia and her wife Suzanne Kenoyer, special niece Angel Hernandez, and many other dear friends and family. A memorial service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. A private burial at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery will follow at a later date.
