Ruth Enola Young passed away on January 19, 2015, at the age of 90. She was born on October 21, 1924 in Paducah, Kentucky. Ruth attended Lipscomb University and Abilene Christian University. She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years J.R. Young and son John R. Young. She spent her time traveling when able, going on cruises with family. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandson, working on crossword puzzles, sewing, and painting. She is survived by her sister: Ruby Behrens; children, Greg Young, and Susan Harkins (husband Pat); grandson Jeff Harkins, and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
