She was born on October 30th, 1944 in Buffalo, NY, the oldest daughter of the late Raymond and Myrtle Ean. She lived in Iowa from 1954-1958 returning to upstate New York, where she remained the majority of her life. She graduated from Jamestown Community College with an Associates degree in Nursing. She worked in the community as a Registered Nurse for 40 years retiring from Lakeshore Hospital in Irving, NY. She met the love of her life, Joseph Anthony Bartelo, in Nursing school, remaining together for the next 47 years. Together they enjoyed going on adventures and sampling local cuisines. She loved spending time with her Grandchildren and then Great Grandchildren. She loved her fur-babies; Charlie, Rosie, Sam, Andy and Sophie. In later years her health declined. She and her husband moved to Texas to live with her daughter Lori and her husband Eric. She loved Texas, the big beautiful blue skies, watching the birds, the deer, and soaking up the sunshine. She passed away at home with her Husband, her daughter Lori and her “Captain” Eric whom she adored. She was at peace and very happy.
