Steve was a GREAT brother. We were very close over the years, sharing friends and lots of good times!  We both made our share of bad decisions,  but we were both trying to change things for the better.  His girlfriend Shelley of 25 years was the love of his life. She is now lost without him.  I am going to miss him so much. Sometimes you could not shut him up and he would tell the same stories over and over but he was so fun to be with. He could always bring smiles to everyone around and be the life of the party. He loved hunting, NASCAR  & sports. He really loved the Dallas Cowboys and he was so proud of his younger brother Mike.  He loved working on cars and motorcycles. He treasured his friends, many he had for 40 plus years!  I know he will be missed tremendously and this World was better with him in it!

He is survived by his mother; Joan McCord; sisters: Sharon Denton, Susan Reed, brother: Michael McCord and wife Jan; nieces and nephews, John Michael Denton, Katie and Brittany Stevens, Megan and Brock McCord.
