SSG. Tomas Perez Jr. U.S. Army passed away at the age of 40. He was born June 7, 1970 in Tuscon, Arizona to Tomas and Laurie M. Fontane-Perez. Preceded in death by his father; and sister Anita L.T.M. Perez. Survived by his Mother, Laurie M. Perez; Wife, Sharon Perez; Daughters, Angelita Perez, and Maribel Perez; son, Tomas J. Perez III; step-daughter, Caitlin Chimelis; sister, Laura Perez; brother Carlos Mathena; and granddaughter Joelle Nadia Jeudy. SSG. Perez proudly served his country for 20 years. He served in Desert Storm/Shield & Iraq for 3 tours. A visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at Colonial Funeral Home from 5-9 P.M. Services will be Held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. Military honors to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 A.M.
