

Ursula Latisa Cunningham Spence began life in her earthly home February 14, 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona. On the afternoon of May 7, 2015, at the age of 44, Ursula answered the call, folded her earthly tent, and went to live with God in her permanent home. Her death came without an extended illness or pain.
Ursula, the daughter of Percy and Darlene Spence, was a spirited person with a generous heart and a love for life. She attended elementary school in Lakenheath, England where she developed an awesome British accent. Upon returning to the states, Ursula attended schools in Converse, Texas later graduating from Judson High School. During her middle school days Ursula used her acquired accent to amaze and bring joy to her teachers and friends. As an enthusiastic member of her high school's 4H club she raised award winning pigs.
Throughout her adult life she was known as a loving, responsible parent and a dedicated employee. She was a committed member and officer of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary for 11years. At the time of her death, Ursula was serving as Adjutant/Treasurer, for Randolph Area Unit 17, Universal City, Texas and State Junior Chairman.
Ursula is survived by two sons, Derrick Kevin Cunningham Fort Worth, Texas and Dominik Keon Cunningham Schertz, Texas; Parents, Percy Andrew Spence III and Darlene Spence Selma, Texas; Brother, Percy Andrew Spence IV Selma, Texas; aunts, uncles and cousins; and, many friends and acquaintances. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Lillian Mae Manning, Percy Andrew Spence II and wife Fannie Spence.
A life of selfless service to others has ended, the torch has gone out. May we relight her torch of service and let it live on in our lives.
