Wallace "Wayne" McNair, age 93, of Cibolo, TEXAS passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Wayne was born December 7, 1927. He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life of 70 years, Irmgard Therese Binkowski McNair. Born in TEXAS, raised in Winnsboro, TEXAS, a true TEXAN. He joined the military at a young age and served our country in three wars. He found his yellow rose, Irmgard Binkowski, in Germany in 1948. Through hardships and perseverance through a long separation, they were finally able to marry on February 16, 1950. While serving in the military, they raised three children (Military Brats). Family was very important to them. He had a great sense of humor, a love of history, country music, traveling and life in general. He worked hard and played hard. Just a good ol' boy.
He will be truly missed by his surviving family. His children Gloria McNair, Norbert "Wayne" McNair and wife Sandra McNair, and David McNair. His grandchildren Jason France, Benjamin McNair, Paul McNair, Adam Sharp, Rachel McNair, Amy Serda, Theresa Fry, Jaazaniah McNair and 17 great-grandchildren. He truly left behind a legacy and is in each of our hearts and a part of who we are. A Great Love Lives Forever.
