MSG. Willard B. McGlone, Jr. U.S. Army, Retired passed away January 23, 2011 at the age of 67. He was born May 10, 1943 in Vanceburg, Kentucky to Willard B. and Anna McGlone Sr. Preceded in death by; his parents; wife, Alice McGlone; and son, Christopher W. McGlone. Survived by his daughters, Karen K. Burt, her husband Clifton, Shelly West; son, Brian West, his wife Sylvia; granddaughter, Autumn N. West; brothers, Troy, Terry, Timmy, Tony and John; cousins, Carolyn and “Red”. He was a letter carrier in Alamo Heights for many years. A visitation will be held, Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and funeral services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Colonial funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with full military honors.
