CPO Willie Smith U.S. Navy (Retired)

CPO Willie Smith U.S. Navy (Retired) of San Antonio passed away on November 23, 2010 at the age of 82. He was born in Centralia, Texas on August 12, 1928 to William and Bessie B. (Sanders) Smith. He was a lifetime member of VFW post 8541. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Patricia J. Smith; children, S. Monroe Smith (Victoria), Bryan Arthur Smith (Sandra-Busbee), Pamela Dalton Hendricks (Hanns Peter), Michael Hogan (Suzi), Patrick Hogan (Victoria), Dena Sutton, Darci Molinar; grandchildren, Leah Spinrad, Kai Sterling Busbee-Smith, Keeley Rae Busbee-Smith, Willis Sutton, Luke Hogan, Mycol Molinar, Keara Molinar, and Julia Hogan; great-grandchild, Aiden Molinar; brother, Stephen Gresham, his wife Elvera and sister, Joann Weid, her husband Johnny. Graveside services and interment will be Friday, December 3, 2010 at 2:45 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors. Immediately following the Graveside Service a reception will be held at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7139 Ray Bon Drive, San Antonio, Tx 78218. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to a medical organization of your choice.
