Alice S. Vavadelis, 82, passed away peacefully in her home on October 7, 2012. She was born on November 3, 1929 to the late James R. and Elizabeth Smith in Norfolk, VA. She is predeceased by her husband Peter G. Vavadelis.
She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Ramella and Stephanie Vavadelis; brother, William Smith; sisters, Becky Sykes and Doris Carpenter; two grandchildren, Joe and Lee Ramella; two great grandchildren, Isabella and Sasha; and her loving companion Socrates.
A graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Aaron Brittain on Friday, October 12th at 3pm at Rosewood Memorial Park; 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
