I am sorry about Barbara, today’s sorrow is part of tomorrow’ Joy, while we mourn the death of those we love, we also celebrate their entrance into new life. We wish to express our most sincere sympathy!

I was blessed with the most wonderful, sweet, caring, and loving Mom!  You will be greatly missed.  Your loving son, Lee, Jr 💕💕

I was so blessed to have Barbara Hurst as a Mother-in-law for 37 years.  She was such a fun, kind and loving woman.  She always made you feel welcome and at home.  Barbara and Lee were just a phone call away if you needed anything and would be the first ones there.  I remember calling to say I was checking in the hospital to deliver Amanda, getting changed and walking out the door and there was Barbara - she beat my Lee to the hospital! She walked the halls with me until Lee got there, then she joined the 20 plus family members in the waiting room.  You loved your children, us outlaws, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as all your grand dogs and grand cats.  You made everyone feel special and loved.  My life is better for having had you in it and I thank you for that! ❤️❤️💕


Momma
           This does not seem real, it's like a dream that your in heaven now, but you are no longer in pain and that is a blessing for the whole family. You chose the day of LOVE (Valentines Day) to leave us which I understand why. You had so much LOVE for daddy, Lee jr., Brenda, myself and our spouses, grandchildren, animals and all the family and everyone that came into your life. Everyone LOVED you so much!!!!!!! 
I learned how to be a mom from you. You were a fantastic, awesome, LOVING, creative, giving and kind momma with a smile made of sunshine and a heart of pure gold. Everyone adored you and you will forever have a place in people's hearts.
Everyone would quickly fall for your lovable personality. You were quick to drop what you were doing and help someone in need whether it was family or friends in a matter of seconds. Momma you were " one of a kind."
We all miss you so much! We all have so many beautiful memories of you and I will always hold you near and dear in my heart.

If roses grow in heaven , 
Lord please pick a bunch for me, 
Place them in my Mothers arms and tell her they're from me.

Tell her I LOVE her and miss her and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy, I do it everyday but there's an ache  within my heart that will never go away.



Mom, it is hard to find the words to tell you how I am feeling right now. My heart broke when you left us , I just couldn’t believe it. I know you are no longer in pain and for that I am grateful. You were a beautiful loving mom, always happy and smiling. I remember when I was young you would make us oatmeal and buttered toast everyday before school and it was so good, (I still love it today). I had a happy childhood and you taught me to be strong and stand on my own two feet as a woman. You were always there to listen to me and offer your advice when needed and when I needed help you and dad were the first ones there. You were loving, smart, worked hard and always had our best interest in mind. You and dad spoiled us as kids and we never went without anything. I remember our day at the zoo where we were both on scooters since I had surgery and your first plane ride in over 10 years going to Florida for Chris and Jasmines baby shower. You enjoyed the day we went to paint mermaids and you always wanted your nails painted every time you came over and I loved that time with you. Also Chris and Jasmines wedding in Florida, we had so much fun! 

Days will be hard moving forward, but you will always be in my heart❤️.  You are a part of me and you taught me well. I know you are in heaven in the arms of your sisters and mom and dad. I have included pictures below of our adventures. I love you mom and will always carry you with me. 

She was a very loving and caring woman who would fill your heart with joy when you were with her, whether you had just met her for the first time or knew her for your entire life. She will be truly missed and remembered fondly. Deepest sympathies for her husband Lee, and children Lee, Brenda, and Faith.

God gave me Barbara one of my favorite cousins. She always shared her love and laughter with everyone ❤️. I have great memories of growing up with her. We were neighbors for awhile and we had wonderful times swimming in the pool, her children and my Daughter Linda. My prayers and love is with the Family .                                                                                                                                               

I am thankful for all the time that we had together.  It is hard knowing that we won’t make new memories together, but I know you will be looking down and partaking in everything from up above. Grandma you will be truly missed.  Thank you for always being there and the unconditional love you gave. I will miss painting rocks and shells and doing our puzzles. I love you ladybug!
