Carol W. Keefer, 81 passed away peacefully on February 28, 2017. She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to four children; Sherrie McCabe and husband Doug, Tim Keefer and wife Jacqueline, Bonnie Keefer and fiancé Jeff Applewhite, and Lori Dotson and husband Danny;12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and her beloved Yorkie Buddy.
Carol was predeceased by her husband Kenny and her brother Bernard Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held Monday, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Lung Assoc. or Americans Helping Americans in Appalachia.
