CHESAPEAKE- Clara Esther Cahill, 70, went to be with her Heavenly family on August 10, 2010.
Mrs. Cahill was born in Lynchburg and lived most of her life in Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Staton and Ruth Willoughby Staton, granddaughter, Ashley Wycoff and four brothers, John, Theodore, Norman and Joseph Staton.
Survivors include her beloved husband of fifty-one years, John J. Cahill, her daughter, Peggy Wycoff, granddaughter, Nicole Wycoff, two sisters, Catherine Powell and Clarice Knox and husband, John, three sisters-in-law, Eunice Staton, Frances Staton and Dorothy McFadden, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Mrs. Cahill’s life will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. Friends may offer condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
