Virginia Beach - Deloris Lucille Bolander, 84, passed away March 5, 2017. She was born on Aug. 16, 1932 in Sioux Falls, SD to the late William and Wilma Fehlhafer. Deloris worked as a restaurant manager and owner. Her passion for the business carried on through retirement as she enjoyed going out for brunch and the socialization that came with it. Deloris loved life, laughter, and her children.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Elwood Bolander (Betty), Sibyl Bishop (Jack), Brent Gates (Regina), Dyneen Hafics (Todd), Joleen Bolander, and Koreen Widder (Jimmy); 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; life partner, Melbert Russell; his children, Rusty, Marilee, and Marc, and their families.
She is preceded in death by her former husband, Ellsworth B. Bolander.
