Chesapeake – Earl Macon Vaughan, Sr., 79, died on October 28, 2012. He was a loyal worker for Vaughan’s Esso, Hudson Exxon and Ford Motor Co., where he retired after 32 years of service. He is predeceased by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Vaughan; his wives, Peggy J. Bonney Vaughan and Bonna J. Swoope Vaughan; and his siblings, Lois Quigley, John L. “Buddy” and Willard E. “Johnny” Vaughan.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Lewis O. Vaughan; his children, Earl Macon, Jr. (Debora), Tony Vaughan (Katie), Estelle Vaughan-Slick (Bob), and Teresa Chappelle (David); 9 grand and 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; step-daughters and sons; and other family and friends. He will truly be missed by all.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
