Emmett Troy Clark,lll, 62 passed away on May 5, 2024 in Farmville, Virginia.
Emmett fondly known as Troy was born in Norfolk, Virginia on March 24, 1962. He was predeceased by his father Emmett Troy Clark Jr. and granddaughter Hannah Faith Measel. He graduated from Great Bridge High School class of 1980. He retired from Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office as a Master Deputy Sheriff and served as a counselor with Juvenile Services in Virginia Beach.
Troy held many titles in his life from Master Deputy Sheriff to Juvenile Counselor, but his favorite role was being a father and grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with his daughter, Kimberly and grandson Jaxson. Troy took great pride of taking care of his family and making great memories with his three sisters and loving parents, he loved all his family dearly. He loved amusement parks and traveling to Florida and Las Vegas whenever he got the chance.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Renae Clark, his mother Bonnie Jean Clark, his grandson Jaxson Allen Measel; three sisters, Debbie Clark, Ginger Clark, and Sharon Parsons (Bruce); nieces and nephews Heather Ausley, Daniel Wickens, Christal Spake, Linwood Parsons and Bonnie Polo.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Va.
A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2:00 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Va. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park, 601 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Va.
