

Virginia Beach - Felicidad ‘Fe’ Castillo Asercion was born on April 5, 1929 to Carmen Castillo and Jacinto Solis in General Trias, Cavite, Philippines. She earned an Elementary Teachers' Certificate in 1950. On Oct. 21, 1951 she married the love of her life, the late Apolinario Asercion.
Her Savior Yeshua called her home on Jan. 23, 2014 to join her beloved husband. She lived a life of favor with her Creator, bringing honor to His name and blessings to her family and to all whose lives she touched.
Fondly known as “Fely” and “Fe,” she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She helped establish the Assembly of Yah, where she was lovingly known as “Mama Fe.”
She is survived by her two sisters, Lucina Luna and Purificacion Bobadilla, and other family in America as well as in the Philippines.
Her legacy continues through: her children, Emmanuel Asercion (married to the late Sandy Asercion), Luis and Sally Asercion, Ruth and David Lorenzo, Dorcas and Humberto Zuniga, Miriam and Donald Rodil; her grandchildren, Rob and Karen, Jeremy, Chad and Kim, Andrew, Jayna and Stephen, Stephanie, John John, Kristin, Julie, Lindsey, and Zechariah; and her great-grandson, Jonah.
A visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd. in Virginia Beach and again on Saturday, Feb 1, 2014 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 6:00 p.m. The funeral will be held Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
