

Geraldine Dixon Harrison passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, after a long battle with Dementia. Her final moments were spent peacefully surrounded by family. She was married to her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Harrison, for 48 years and was by his side until his passing.
She loved to cook, bake, sew, crochet, and listen to Country Music. She was an amazing gardener and was known for her strawberry fig preserves. Her favorite activity was fishing at Lynnhaven Fishing Pier, where she met Conway Twitty, one of her favorites. She was a Navy wife and sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for over 30 years. She was a member of St. John’s Baptist Church as well as The Red Hat Society and Eastern Star. She was big into charity work as well as volunteering. She was a true southern lady who took care of everything with class and kindness. Known for her gentle soul and strong faith in God, Gerry will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life.
She is survived by her five children: Debra Morgan, Wendell Ray Lee(Rene Lee), Wanda James(Mark James), Patty Bandy, and Robert Harrison Jr.(Mary Harrison). She has 14 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
There will be a Public Visitation for Geraldine on Friday, September 12, 2025, 9:30 AM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Her funeral service will take place on the same day at 10:00 AM, also at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Following the service, her Burial will take place at Colonial Grove Memorial Park, 3445 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456.
