Jacquiline Anne Duobinis

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Jacquiline Anne Duobinis (nee Beard) at the age of 84 on August 8, 2024. She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, her husband of nearly 40 years, Vincent John Duobinis, Jr. She is survived by her two children, Jacqueline R. Duobinis and Vincent J. Duobinis, III (Emmy); her two granddaughters, Kayte R. Ray and Kali A. Bowser (Drew); and four great grand-grandchildren, Lane, Rosie, Jackson and Bo. She is also survived by her sister Sandra M. Gatta and numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

Jackie was born in Baltimore to Eli and Anna Beard in 1939. She married her high school sweetheart Vince shortly after graduation and moved to Biloxi, Mississippi where Vince was stationed. Over the next nine years her two children were born, and she and Vince lived in Nevada, California and Germany, finally settling back in their hometown of Baltimore. They lived there until Vince’s job caused them to move to Virginia Beach in the 1980s.

Jackie was an avid gardener, crafter, and reader. She enjoyed travelling and quiet mornings listening to the many birds that called her backyard home. She was active in Just Seniors at St. Nicholas Catholic Church volunteering for several of their ministries. She was curious and never stopped learning about new things. She was kind, generous and had a wicked sense of humor. She was an amazing Mom. We will miss her dearly.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Day and time to be announced.
