Mr. D’Amico was born in Buffalo, NY and retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after twenty years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-one years Julie Ann Groll D’Amico; two sons, David D’Amico and fiancé Amber Gibson, Adam D’Amico and wife Amber, a daughter Miranda D’Amico; one grandson Aiden D’Amico; a brother Salvatore D’Amico and two sisters Conchetta Heim and Cathy Taylor.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
A gathering of family and friends will follow at Fired Up Sports Bar & Grill, 1715 Harpers Road in Virginia Beach starting at 7p.m. Interment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
