Janette Ruth Cole

Janette Ruth Cole, age 83, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Janette was born October 14, 1938 in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Cole Sr. and a son Willie Cole Jr.

Janette moved to Virginia Beach in 1968. She retired as a warehouse manager with Tidewater Air Filter after thirty-five years of service. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy Football fan and a doting grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include five children, Bobby Key, Cindy Dinkler, Renea Bowdoin, Marilyn Byrd and Robin Mills; fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 2:00p.m.
