A Norfolk native, Ms. Medlin resided in Virginia Beach all of her life. She loved her cats, enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid camper.
Survivors include her loving partner Jud Newton; a son Joseph Medlin and wife Debbie; three grandchildren, Tucker, Ethan and Riley Medlin; a brother Bobby Medlin and wife Faye; and lifelong friend Kay Cason.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, 2:00p.m. April 22, 2017 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
