 Obituario de Jon Kevin Nash
Jon Kevin Nash, age 55, of Chesapeake, VA passed away October 13, 2020 after a long battle with diabetes. He was born in Norfolk, VA on August 26, 1965 to the late John Wesley Nash, Jr. and Willie Vee Nash and was the husband of Stacey Leigh Nash. Kevin worked very hard his entire life. He was a self-employed construction subcontractor whose home was an ever-progressing work site. He had such a passion for his field that even at the end he was still sizing up his room, telling his wife how he could have built the room better. Another passion that brought Kevin joy were the years he spent coaching baseball. He was well known and loved because he gave out $5.00 for every home run. One of the proudest moments of his time coaching is when his team won a championship. Kevin also loved spending time with his family, going camping, playing pool and riding his motorcycle. In addition to his wife of 23 years, He is survived by his two sons, Jon Travis Nash and John Wesley Nash III, both of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Sheena Skenes (Billy) of Chesapeake, VA, and Amanda Nash Cornwell (Adam) of Franklin, VA; three brothers, Charles Richard Parsons of Chesapeake, VA, Charles “Bubba” Nash of South Mills, NC, and Donald Ray Parsons (Jean) of Chesapeake, VA; A brother at heart, William Ernie Lee (Anita) of Chesapeake, VA; A special nephew who was like a brother, John Myles Murray, Jr. (Jessica) of Oviedo, FL; Two sisters, Charlotte “Sissy” Epperly of South Mills, NC and Melissa Nash Jackson (Tim) of Chesapeake, VA.; Stacey’s parents, Richard and Vivian Stevenson; Stacey’s sister Nicole (Scott); nieces and nephews, Steve, Wesley, Allen, Summer, Kyle, Britnie and Madison. And all his special little ones, Kobe, Desirae, Samantha, Amiah, Will, Shayla (Bean), Dion, Cameron (Chubbs), Ryder, Kayden, Kash and Lucas and many friends. He was predeceased by his brother Dennis Ray Nash, brother- in-law Ed Epperly and his first wife Michelle Davis Nash, Travis’ mother. A big thank you for all those that have loved and supported Kevin and Stacey through his illness. Thank you to each and every person that took the time to visit Kevin. Those visits meant the world to him. In addition, our family would like to send a special thank you to the pall bearers. J.W., Little John, Ernie, Manny, Shawn, and Marty.
