Joseph C. Bevacqua, 84, passed away January 10, 2014. He was born to the late Florence and Joseph Bevacqua in Brooklyn, New York. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Bevacqua was a parishioner of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. He is predeceased by his wife, Laura; and sister-in-law Frances Parrinello.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Joseph M. Bevacqua and his wife, Domenica; daughter, Laureen Bevacqua; granddaughters, Danielle Bevacqua and Nicole Puchalski Beacham and her husband Kenneth, Sr.; great-grandchildren, Kenneth Beacham, Jr. and Gianna Beacham; sister Grace Deppert; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Monday and Tuesday at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A Christian wake will begin at 7:00pm in the funeral home.
