

Joseph "JJ" John Fauci was born on October 6, 1952, in Queens, New York. He passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 73. JJ was born to the late Joseph Henry Fauci and the late Joyce Theresa Fauci. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his son, Kenith Casica.
Joseph has always been a loving humble man, having feelings for everyone known and unknown.
At the early age of 17, he was drafted in the United States Navy where he faithfully served 20 years. Joseph was a faithful member of Greater Faith Temple Apostolic Ministry where he dedicated his life and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in July 2019. Joseph lived a life with humility, grace and purpose. There was so much love in his heart. He had a heart of gold. To know him was to know the true meaning of kindness.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 27 years, Laverne Taylor Fauci of Virginia Beach; two sons, Jason Willis Fauci (Angel) of Wichita, Kansas and John Fauci (Merchell) of Norfolk; a daughter, Janine Zoblisien (Joshua) of Newport News; two brothers, Robert Fauci of Pasadena, Maryland and Paul Fauci (Jennifer) of Long Island, New York; granddaughters, Kristen Shaw (Dustin) of Clarksville, Tennessee, Shilyn Casica Clark (Marcus) of Willis, Texas, Angelina Fauci of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandsons, Loga Casica of Willis, Texas, Alex Fauci of Norfolk, and Brandon Fauci of Newport News; great-grandchildren, Isaac Zoblisien, Athena, Atreus, Aeris, Austyn; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, located at 601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462, on February 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue, starting at 3:00 pm. Reception will take place at Kingdom Cathedral, 3820 Stoneshore Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
