Mrs. Kramer always had a smile and a "hello sweetie!" for me whenever I spoke to her on the phone or saw her in person. She's going to be very missed at Holly Point. She always brightened my day, especially with her wonderful pistachio bread! 

Joyce was a beautiful person with a kind heart,  one of the best neighbors and friends one could ever ask for.  Still in a state of disbelief, I find comfort in knowing that she is now with the Lord.

One thing I  know is that she was the epitome of the Proverbs 31 wife and mother as paraphrased below:
Joyce extended a helping hand to others and opened her arms to those in need.  She was clothed with strength and dignity and laughed without fear of the future.  
When she spoke, her words were wise, and she gave instructions with kindness.  She carefully watched everything in her household and suffered nothing from laziness.
Her children blessed her and her husband praised her.
When I think of the many virtuous and capable women in the world, Joyce was among them .

My deepest condolences for the loss of such a beautiful spirit.  I truly wish I had more time to know Joyce better.  In the few months we knew each other, she touched my heart.  May all the wonderful memories your family has of her bring you some peace as you grieve.

I can't tell you how sorry we were to hear about Joyce's passing.
  Any memories of the neighborhood growing up always include your family. Your mom always treated me like one of her own, she was never too busy to have a chat on your front porch.
  We are praying that you all will find peace and healing that only our God can provide. May He give all of you the strength to walk through the coming days.

I remember the times I called her we talked about getting older and always covering our hair. She would tell me about the kids and grandkids. My family went to visit them and we had so much fun them memories will always be in my heart. Love all of you sorry for your loss All the brothers n sisters are together in HEAVEN 

I was given the opportunity to be Memaws hair stylist years and years ago. She was a 1 in a million kinda soul. So kind and funny and personable. She never met a stranger and every single stylist around me took to her and loved her as she did them. Bringing us Pistachio cake and making us laugh. Every shampoo she would remind me to not use any fabric softner (conditioner) and we'd laughhhh. I admired her, her stories of her kids and her wonderful husband who would wait in the car outside so very patiently and her always wanting to make sure i gave her those "layers and waves" he loved so much on her! ❤ a love we all can only hope for. Until we meet again Memaw. You will be deeply missed my friend 💔
