Laura was the most amazing person I have ever known.  She was not only my sister, she was my best friend, my confidant, my prayer warrior, my champion.  She was loving and kind, and she genuinely cared about those around her.  Laura had a great sense of humor.  She loved to laugh and to share that with those around her.  She led her life full of joy and spread joy where ever she went and to whomever she met.  She was incredibly generous and gave of herself in many ways to her church, her friends, her community and most of all her family.  There are no words to express how much I will miss my sister.  There is no one else on earth like my precious Laura.

Mark, Bill and I are so fortunate to have known Laura.  She was such a loving person.  This world's loss is heaven's gain. May God be with you.

Mark, So very sorry to hear of your loss. Dealing with the grief is not an easy thing to do, but knowing she's in a better place will hopefully help. She has life eternal now and won't ever need to worry about pain again. We're praying for your peace and comfort.

I just wanted to tell you "Thank You" for bringing Laura into our family 30 years ago and blessing us in countless ways. She was the most wonderful, thoughtful, caring and loving person I have ever met. She had a beautiful soul, a contagious smile, a childlike spirit and was a true earth angel to all that knew her.

Laura taught me so much about living out God's love to others.  I loved her with all my heart and will miss her terribly.  We are praying so much for Mark, Lisa and Edna and the rest of her family.  As much as I will miss Laura, I'm glad she is with Jesus and not suffering.  Those of us left without her here will miss her very much until we see her again in heaven.

Dear Mark, words may sound hollow during your grief but, words are all I have.  I only met you and Laura recently, but we had been email family for a while.  This past Sunday, during our Praise & Worship, the thought hit me that Laura was watching our praise of the Lord from heaven.  I teared up and then realized what great joy and peace she must be enjoying in the presence of Our Heavenly Father.  I shared this with my Pastor, who shared it with the congregation, and then we worship even more for the fellow believer who had made it home.

I don't know what the future holds for you, Mark, but I know who holds the future.  I trust my Lord to see you through the days ahead and to meet you in your grief. I cannot express my sorrow at hearing that Laura has passed. She will be missed. Laure and I grew up together on the Island, and I remember her first cancer bout. No matter how hard it was she always smiled and spoke beautifully about everyone. I had my first tea/lemaonade at her place. There were many a summer days where we would all hang out. I am honored to have been touched by her wonderful spirit.

Laura's humor and laughter was contagious and will be what I remember most. I enjoyed her visits to Lisa and Don's.  She will be greatly missed by everyone.  Peace and comfort to all.

Leon and I send our condolences on Laura's passing.

We remember all the wonderful times we had together at First Southern Baptist Church of Pearl Harbor, serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

On one of our visits back to our beautiful Honolulu, I called Laura and we made arrangements to meet at Hickam AFB.

Laura and Lemomi came to Hickam and had lunch with me & took me to Pearl Harbor Exchange.  We shopped, laughed, and had fun.

Afer our outing, Laura insisted on driving me back to Waikiki to our Waikiki Hotel in the rush hour traffic(just like Laura)  and then drove all the way back to your home.

Laura was a giver. She made a wonderful impact on the lives she touched.

We are grateful for her friendship.

Mark, as you strive to get on without the love of your life,know that your friends are praying for comfort and healing for you.

My girls only knew Laura as Moma Laura. They are with their Daddy Mark in loving thoughts as you and the rest of the family absorb the future without her physical presence.

Ray and I are very blessed that God allowed our paths to cross with you and Laura in Hawaii at FSBCPH so long ago. We have such wonderful memories of our time together. Diana remembers an instance when she and Laura literally laid hands on the office computer and asked God to heal it. He provided a miracle on that day.  What a sweet spirit she was. Always putting others before herself (sometimes neglecting her on needs.) Laura left a print on our hearts that time can't erase. Until we meet again sweet lady. From the time we met you and Laura in  Hawaii,  we loved you. Our time there in Hawaii was and still is very precious to us. Though we have not been in close contact since we left Hawaii, Laura and I would email from time to time. I will admit I was not aware of her struggle with cancer and I am sorry.  There was a time when Wednesday was my day to pray for Laura  and the rest of the staff at FSBCPH.  I thank God for allowing our paths to cross and I praise Him because they will cross  again someday.

A pastor at church yesterday mentioned that we ought to be the kind of leaders, the kind of people, who plant trees --not for our benefit but for the branches that will shade those who come after us.  Laura Kelley, was a tree planter.

Personally, she helped me through a rough time in my life with the shade of her tree of service; Laura planned the funeral and reception for our son, Andrew, when he died of heart failure just two weeks after he was born. I was numb with grief and I couldn't do anything, so Laura planned and executed a wonderful memorial of his short life and a truly healing service for us and our Hawaii family.

I will always remember her with smile on her face; even if she was hurting herself, you could seldom tell. Laura was a connector--she kept in touch with so many people through the years, and she did so genuinely because she cared. She made us all feel so loved.

Laura was an amazing woman with a huge heart, willing hands and a living vessel for God's love.

Our deepest sympathy and love for you Mark; may the memories of Laura's life bring you peace and comfort.

Laura was such a blessing to my whole family.  She was more than just a friend, she was my sister in Christ.  She cared for my children like they were her own.  She was Erin's first boss!  They had so much fun together at the Commissary and then stopping at Anna Miller's at 2am!!  I know that she has gone to Heaven and was welcomed with open arms. Laura was a delight to be around. My first words with Laura was over the phone when a young teacher named Vince was heading to Hawaii where he knew no one. Laura said she would meet him at the airport and the rest is history. We shared two wonderful vacations with Mark and Laura.  This world will miss Laura
