

Linda Joy Davis, a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, in Virginia Beach, VA, at the age of 70. Born on November 25, 1955, in Montgomery, Maryland, Linda lived a life full of love, devotion, and joy.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Starkey, and her husband of 52 years, Larry Davis. She is survived by her loving son, Troy Davis, and his wife Monica; her devoted brother, Tim Starkey, and his wife Jackie; her granddaughter, Kayla Davis; and her bonus grandchildren, Alyssa & husband Steve Pentz, Auburn & her husband Matthew Long, and Trent Davis. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren David Irvin & Jaxson, Aurora, Owen and Evan Pentz.
Linda worked as a Sales Representative at Macy's for over nine years before retiring. She loved shopping. Her favorite stores being Kohl's, Amazon, HSN, and Macy’s. Her passion for jewelry and handbags is well known, and she had an eye for selecting beautiful pieces. Beyond her work, Linda's heart was truly devoted to Larry and her dogs. A devout Catholic, she was a dedicated member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Her greatest joy came from spending time gardening, relaxing with Larry watching the Hallmark channel & being with her family during the holidays. Linda also had a deep love for dogs, especially her loyal companion, Zoey, who brought her immense happiness.
In her final days, Linda was surrounded by the love and support of her family, particularly her brother Tim, who was an incredible help and comfort through this difficult time. Linda's generosity, thoughtfulness, and kindness will be remembered.
