Lois Lorraine Bachman, a beloved and kind-hearted soul, passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on November 11, 1929, to the late Morris and Sarah Wish in Chicago, Il. She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Donald G. Bachman and granddaughter Autumn Chadwick. Lois was a cherished resident of Chesapeake, Virginia.
Lois was known for her humorous and positive spirit, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. She had a passion for shopping, especially with QVC, and had a special fondness for Christmas and painted ponies.
In her early life, Lois was a dedicated representative for Avon, always walking door to door. She was not only the best mother but also an exceptional grandmother, leaving a lasting impact on her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Beverly Chadwick, Donna Bachman Carter and her husband Kerry; and Robert S. Bachman and his wife Cathy; three grandchildren, Sarah Chadwick; and twin sons, Kameron and Keenan Carter.
Lois Lorraine Bachman will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
