Lula "Judy" Mason Pethel

Lula “Judy” Mason Pethel, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2018. Judy was born in Statesville, NC to the late Ralph and Carrie Mason. She was predeceased by her husband, James Pethel. Judy was a talented woman who worked several different careers in her lifetime. Church life and family were her focal points in her lifetime. She was an active member of Kempsvillle Presbyterian Church and also a member of the Elizabeth Park Civic League. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela (Richard) Gray of Virginia Beach and Melanie (Robert) Morgan of Easton, PA; grandchildren, Stephanie Picard (Matthew), Nicholas Morgan (Jody) and Rachel Thun (Stephen) and a great-grandson, Gray Thun.

There will be a service at 11am, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with a visitation starting one hour prior. There will be a reception to follow the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
