Laurens, SC - Margaret Allen Mayo (91) passed away peacefully on July 23, 2014 in Laurens, SC. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. William Lee Mayo Jr. and two sons, Rev. William Allen Mayo and Tommie Maurice Mayo. Surviving is a Son, Rev. Dr. David Lee Mayo (Loretta) of Marietta, GA, five grandchildren, Rev. William Allen Mayo Jr., Rev. Julian Scott Mayo, Krista Kaye Mayo Overman, Rebecca Virginia Odum and Lindsay Michelle Mayo, six great grandchildren, and one brother, Richard Allen of Raleigh, NC. Along with her husband, Margaret was a faithful servant of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church for many years, serving churches in Virginia and North Carolina. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29 at 10:00 a.m., with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home at 601 N. Witchduck Rd. Virginia Beach.
