Mark Wade Sharp, 65, passed away on June 29, 2012. Born in Pensacola, FL, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Denzil Leroy Sharp. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Beverly D. Carlson and brother-in-law, Gary P. Larson. A graduate of Granby High School, Mark served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid reader, enjoying the Bible and anything else he could get his hands on. As a young man in school, Mark excelled in swimming and track.
Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Sheila Larson Brickner and husband Douglas, and Pamela Sewell; brothers, Gary Sharp and wife Janice, and younger brother, Byron Sharp; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Rosewood Memorial Park. You may offer condolences to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
