Mary Ann Mitchell Bunch, 80, passed away in Norfolk on Saturday. A native of Norfolk, she was predeceased by her parents John and Gertrude Ellis Mitchell. Mary Ann graduated from Kemspville High school, and was the Treasurer for her class reunions. She was a nurse for 25 years with the Lafayette Villa. In her spare time she loved cruises and was a member of the Coleman Place Civic League. Mary Ann is survived by daughters, Denise E. Spelts (Leroy) of Norfolk, Deborah E. Hale of Chesapeake; son, David E. Bunch of Norfolk; granddaughters, Dianne M. Montgomery, Ellen T. Bunch; sister, Ada Hatcher; niece, Molly Smith (Fred) and a host of nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11am, Friday at Kellum Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Rosewood Memorial Park. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
