Chase family, please accept my condolences on the death of your Mother and Grandmother.  I met Jean through the Princess Anne Garden Club and we became fast friends.  I learned so much from her regarding the care of plants. Jean definitely had a "green thumb".  I loved her vine-ripened tomatoes. We did so many activities together; musicals, plays, day trips with the Tidewater antiques and arts group, and of course the potlucks. Jean was a very close friend.  I miss her already.

Lisa I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My family is  feeling the same right now my father passed yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless and may your mother's love continue to shine everytime you flash your beautiful smile. I'll be thinking of you and adding a little extra to my own prayers tonight. Be strong and let those around you help to get you though your time of sorrow.

The Kempsville Senior's Group would like to send their condolences to the family of Jean Chase.  Jean will be greatly missed by our group as she was an active, contributing member and was a friend to all of us.  She is now in the hands of God and may the family receive comfort from this.

My prayers are with all of you in the extended Chase family!  It was my pleasure to enjoy knowing all of you immediate Chase children AND your wonderful - ALWAYS smiling mother!

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jean's death.  I have lost a friend and a neighbor of 40 years.  It's very sad to think that I will never see her grin or share a story or see her wave from her front yard.  I am sure this loss is felt by all of her friends and neighbors, and especially by her children and grandchildren.  My deepest sympathy goes out to Lisa, Linda, Kenneth, Donald and Michael, and to the rest of her family.  She is going to be missed.

Sincere and deep sympathy on the loss of Jean, my long-time neighbor who became a good friend.  I am so glad I didn't miss her in my life and treasure all the good memories of the many thoughts and laughs we often shared.  My prayer is that she is safe and happily in the arms of Jesus along with Chase and Lady.
