Mary Elizabeth Kelly, 100, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Norfolk. Mary was born in Norfolk, she predeceased by her husband, John Kelly, Jr.; her son, Brian and her siblings, Virginia, Ella and George. Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. When not taking care of her family you would see her volunteering with many organizations. Community minded she volunteered at Virginia Opera, Pink Ladies, Meals on Wheels and was also a member of Telephone Pioneers. She is cherished in memory by her children, Kathleen Kirsch (Mike), Charles Kelly and Allen Kelly; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11am, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service for fellowship with the family.
