Mary Linda Slick

Mary Linda Slick, 74, passed away on October 5, 2018. She was born in Portsmouth, VA to the late Lindsay and Mary Bazemore. She was a member of Tabernacle Church in Norfolk. Linda was a loving wife and friend. She enjoyed volunteering at the Union Mission. Linda was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Charles O. Slick; son John L. Slick; and step-mother Athleen Bazemore.
Left to cherish her memory are 3 daughters, Lynette Hall (Les), Jennifer Midgett (David) and Lisa Wilhmelms (George); brother Butch Bazemore; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 niece; 1 nephew; numerous cousins; her best friend for many years in addition to all the assistance she gave Linda since Linda became infirmed, Karen Vogel; and good friends Estefani and Daniel Franken.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in Rosewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Norfolk SPCA. You may offer condolences at www.kellumfuneralhome.com
Special thanks are given to Hospice, Heartland, and Care Advantage for their exceptional care and everyone else who went above and beyond in assisting Linda over the years.
