Dr. Mervan O. Anderson entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2012. Mervan was born November 2, 1930 in Old England, Manchester, Jamaica. He was the second of eight children. Mervan was well known as an excellent OB-GYN physician in the Hampton Roads community and for his tremendous generosity and kindheartedness towards others. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Eileen, son Earle, daughter Sandra, two granddaughters, brothers Clinton, Radcliffe and Feddie; sisters, Lilieth and Merle; and a tremendous host of other relatives and good friends.
The family will receive friends at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 North Witchduck Road, Va. Beach, Friday, June 22, from 7-9 pm. A funeral will begin at 10 am, Saturday, June 23, at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 509 S. Rosemont Rd., Va. Beach. Burial will follow at Princess Anne Memorial Park.
