Noah "Buddy" Walton Spruill, Jr.

Noah "Buddy" Walton Spruill, Jr., 91, passed away on September 8, 2021. He was born on December 22, 1929 to the late Mae and Noah W. Spruill, Sr., in Columbia, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Lucy Spruill. Mr. Spruill served in the Korean War during his time in the U.S. Army and had a career as a Supervisor for Ford Motor Co., Norfolk Assembly Plant. After retirement, he dabbled in wood-working in his backyard shop and went on to create a thriving lawn care business. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Rial and Pam Housand and a son, Jerry Spruill and his wife Vikki Lynch. He was “Papaw” to eight grandchildren; Joe Guill, Luke Guill, Jennifer Donius, Jessica Halverson, Lauren Strain, Vanessa Webb, Eric Webb and Kori McCluskey, along with 13 great grandchildren.
