Ramdeo retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service. After his retirement, he continued his service to the Navy as a federal civilian HVAC Technician at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center until he retired a second time in 2021.
He loved his family, and lived for every opportunity to see his many grandchildren. He also loved to travel routinely to see his siblings, nephews, and nieces. Pastimes included automotive repair, sports including cricket, listening to oldies, gardening, harvesting the results of gardening, consuming the results of harvesting, and surprisingly later found joy in house-cats.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rosa; his sons, Miguel and his spouse Tonya, Samdeo, and Andy and his spouse Chelsea; his grandchildren Conner, Cameron, William, Marlena, Olivia, Willow, Amelia, and Nathaniel, his brother Gopaul, and sister Polly.
A visitation for Ramdeo will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
