Thomas Houston, Jr., retired U.S. Navy Veteran 71, has moved on to glory. Mr. Houston passed on Monday evening at his home in Chesapeake, VA surrounded by family. He served in the U.S. Navy for 28 years. He was born on May 12, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC to Thomas Houston, Sr. and Vivian Woodson Houston.
Left to honor his memory, are his wife of 43 years, Cecilia A. Houston; one daughter, Katherine Houston Grobes and her husband William E., IV; two grandchildren, William E. Grobes, V and Alexis C. Grobes; mother, Vivian Woodson Houston; and brother, Willie Houston and his wife Doris Houston, who still resides in Spartanburg, SC.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 15, at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
