Virginia “Ginger” Keith Boetcher, 71, went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2021. She was born in Portsmouth, VA to the late William and Gladys Keith. She was known as Ginger by all of her friends, and taught in the Virginia Beach public schools for over twenty-five years, finally retiring from Indian Lakes Elementary School. She was a faithful member of the River Room Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Christian programming and reading her Bible. Ginger was a strong believer, a caring mother, and a supportive wife.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 50 years, Ray Boetcher; son Ryan M. Boetcher; brother Andrew Keith (Gracie); sisters, Linda Smith, and Judy Wells (Ralph).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
